I’ve been writing for decades: technical books, white papers, instructional materials. I never thought I would write fiction, let alone read it.
I’m dyslexic. It’s not extreme, but enough to create reading comprehension issues. I dreaded the days of book reports and text books. The path through the word jumbles and reading comprehension was long. But, when I made it out the other side, my desire to write became something I wanted to do versus something my boss said to do.
When I self-published The Gifted, I set up Terrwyn Books as a salute to my first fiction accomplishment, a four-book fantasy epic. With the help of a writing coach, my journey felt like I was in school, and graduation was when book four published. I shared my writing experiences when writing The Gifted Luxatra.com and am now sharing them here.
